A big thank you to Barb of Honey B's and Paige of Paige Smith Designs for stopping by to see us at the "Christmas in France" sale! Paige gave us a little photography lesson, then took some pictures, and posted them on her blog...thanks Paige!

A little birdy told me...
What's this I hear about Everything Toile having another sparkling spectacular sale on December 18.... Oui c'est vrai!!! Translation; yes this is true!
With December being such a crazy month, we are planning to do something a little different with this event, so stay tuned. Maybe a soirée is in the works. Only time will tell, so please check back in a day or two. We will have everything finalized, dates and times, themes etc.
We will also be posting the event details in the Calgary Herald special craft event section coming up!

We'd rather be in France...
So the studio isn't complete yet but I thought I would share some pictures of my wonderful trip to France. My family and I spent a week in the French Riveira and then a week in Paris. Everywhere I looked I wished Jenny and Carolyn were with me to soak up all the beauty that France has to offer, not to mention all the amazing shopping!
So many things to see at the Flea Market in Nice...
The French Everything Toile!
Do you think this will fit in my suitcase?
I would have liked to bring back this entire booth!
Most of the things at this booth were found in stores that had closed down and had been sitting around since the late 1800's! Amazing!
Perfect weather for my favorite pastime!
I could have used these for sure!
This store was so pretty!

What's Next?
We had such a great time creating and preparing for the Vintage Chicks Show that we were certain ,we wanted to continue with our new venture. So instead of waiting until next year, we will be holding our own shows in Kelly's newly renovated garage! We have been busy searching for the perfect pieces to add to our next show so stay tuned for more info on what we will be up to next!

Who is this amazing artist!
Belles Pantoufles is the french word for Pretty Slippers. Artist, Carolyn of Everything Toile, creates these paper and vintage lace slippers that are so lux and ornate, they have to be presented on nothing other than a silver platter! You can use these slippers as tags, as inspiration on your bulletin board or with a gift bag for your next get together!
More about us and who we are and what we love!
At 8am, it was a hot day in Arizona, the sun already beaming through the palm trees. My girlfriends and I were driving along and had to make a quick turn. We couldn't believe our luck...as we set our eyes on a sign that read, "Estate Sale Today". What a way to start our trip! As we approached the house, it was already was bustling with people! My heart started to pound. Did we miss a really good sale! I hate it when that happens! Once we entered the house, we literally had to hold on to everything we wanted or an onlooker would instantly nab it. It was quite competitive. There were old wooden shoe forms with vintage broaches, pillars, paintings, dishes, huge intricately carved chairs and then I found this stunning piece.
All about Everything Toile
This is a picture that we took for our application to the Vintage Chicks show coming up in Priddis on June 13 and 14, 2010. We were so excited to learn about the upcoming show! We look forward to meeting all of you out there, who share the same passion for "vintaging"! Check out The Vintage Chicks blog at www.thevintagechicks@blogspot.com
